Clear and Comfortable; Gamakatsu Polarized Sunglasses

Clear and Comfortable; Gamakatsu Polarized Sunglasses

By Team Gamakatsu

Many people are well aware of the advantages of wearing sunglasses with outdoor sports. For a clearer view, it’s easier on the eyes and offers protection from wind and insects, just to name a few. Actually it is quite strange many coarse anglers still fish without such an important piece of equipment that makes any angling session more comfortable.

Irritating and tiresome

Within Gamakatsu’s polarized sunglasses range there are 6 different lens colours available, each one with its purpose in specific conditions. For the coarse angler who needs to concentrate at one point for a long time, the colour Light Green/Blue is ideal. Especially when the sun stands low and the wind causes a ripple on the water surface.

Without sunglasses, staring towards the tip of a float or a feeder rod can be tiresome. The flare on the surface makes you feel like staring directly into the sunlight. The Light Green/Blue coloured lenses enable a clear and easy, long concentrated view on a finely tuned float or thin feeder tip. It is obvious that it is easier and more comfortable to see without needing to squint your eyes.

The Light Green/Blue coloured lenses can be found in Gamakatsu’s Wings and Racer frames. The Wings series comes with side wings in order to protect the eyes from wind, bugs and side-light. The Racer series has the amber coloured lenses too and 3 new lens colours were added for the 2016 season. It is designed with a red rubber layer which improves comfort. The flexible frame makes it a solid and durable pair of sunglasses.
